I have been nominated for this award by a Very Talented, but more important, at least in my humble opinion, a Beautifully-Souled Photographer.

Sonel’s Photographic Corner is the name of her Blog and all you have to do is read her comments, her words, to see and feel the Loving Warmth and Kindness she exudes ♥

As for her pictures…beautiful!  She is surrounded by such natural beauty and we are Blessed that she is generous enough to share it with us.  AND that she has been blessed with the eye to capture it in order to transmit it in a way that allows us to revel in the peace, the beauty, and the warmth that she shares.

7 Random Facts about Me  😕

Well, now I have to think randomly, which is not the problem. The problem is thinking about me!

1. I have 3 Beautiful Sisters and a very Handsome Baby Brother.  I am the “nice” one of the siblings and also the oldest 😛 Lucky Me.

2. I am what I like to call and Idealist grounded in the Harshness of Reality.
Basically meaning that I know we can all make the world a better place if we really wanted to, but many of us are a bit apathetic, selfish and self-centered and don’t give a fig about anyone else or their problems or if we are hurting them and thus, Utopia may not be possible.  And THAT Utopia opens up an entire new can of worms…Does “The Ones Who Walk Away from Omelas” by Ursula K. Le Guin ring a bell??

3. I have very eclectic tastes when it comes to many things, especially music. For example, I Love listening to Low Rider Oldies:

4. I was and am a Social Butterfly. I enjoy fluttering about different groups of friends. Which brings me to 5.

5. I am a HORRIBLE FRIEND!  And Family Member.  I never call.  I never write.  Perhaps a line on FB or an email sometimes, but usually forwards.  That is how you know I care 😕

6. I Love Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups!  I think that the person that invented the combination of chocolate and peanuts was a True Genius!!

7. I am very forgetful.  And I have a hard time finishing what I start because I either Procrastinate, lose interest or forget.

I was led to this Blog via another Blog.  But what truly brought me to her was her name.  I have a Daughter named the same.  😀
But, what has KEPT me going there is her Honesty, her Faith, and her Openness. Do enjoy her writings.

When you need a bit of beauty and don’t mind being taken to a place that your imagination can roam free, stop by and read.

7. Sons of Thunder Patron.
Want to talk versatility?  He can enthrall you in History, bewitch you with beauty, and force you to think!  Laugh too!

I go here when I need to laugh – not always in a happy way mind you – or to just find out what is going on with the Espanglish World.  Laura has other sites and journals that she writes for as well, but this site I enjoy for its “Quickies.”  😉

A Bit of Home for me and I just Love the stroll down memory lane.  Besides, I comprende what she writes 😉

Deacon Scott Dodge’s Blog.  Deacon Dodger to me.
He has guided me and lifted me out of the penumbra many a time.  His writing, his guidance, his work is a True Treasure to me.  I hope it is to you as well.

This was one of the First Blogs I “discovered.”  I can identify with her work and her experiences in so many ways.  Now if only I could have the courage to do as she does…

Okay! I think I am Done!!

I realize that this nomination may not be a big gigantic award, it is simply an acknowledgement that someone deemed my work worthy to share.  And THAT is Honour enough!

 This is no popularity contest or to see who has the best camera or best photo’s or talents or even what you do with your photo’s! It’s about sharing what you love doing and it doesn’t matter how you do it. In the end it’s all about what you enjoy doing.   

We are all real people with real feelings and we are all beautiful souls connected. And yes, it takes up a lot of your time but it’s worth it.
