1. Speak to People

Proverbs 16:24

Pleasing words are a honeycomb, sweet to the taste, and healthy to the body.

Bring out the best in people by positive comments.

2. Smile at People

Proverbs 15:30

The cheerful glance brings joy to the heat and good news invigorates the bones.

A simple smile can make the day better for someone.

3. Call People

Isaiah 43:1

I have called you by name and you are mine.

Think as people as unique people with individual needs and desires.

4. Be Helpful and Friendly

Proverbs 18:24

He who would have friends should show himself friendly.

IF you want to have friends, BE a Friend.

5. Be Cordial

Galatians 4:6

Let your speech be always gracious and in good taste and strive to respond properly to all who address you.

Speak and act as if everything you do is a genuine pleasure.

6. Be Genuinely Interested in People

Romans 12:9

Your love must be sincere; love one another with the affection of others.

It is possible to like anyone if you try.

7. Be Generous with Praise and Cautious with Criticism

Proverbs 11:25

He who confers benefits will be amply enriched and he who refreshes other will himself be refreshed.

8. Be Considerate of the Feelings of Others

1st Corinthians 13:5

Love is never rude; it is not self-seeking and it is not prone to anger neither does it brood over injuries.

Try to look at every issue from the perspective of the other person.

9. Be Alert to Give Service

Philippians 2:3 and 4

Be humble towards on another always considering others better than yourselves and look out for one another’s’ interests not just your own.

What counts most in life is what we do for others.

10. Add to these Commandments:

* A good sense of humour

* A big dose of patience

* A dash of humility

and you will be rewarded many fold.
