What’s Good for the Goose IS NOT Always Good for the Gander

I was thinking…Dangerous, I know…but I did it anyway 🙂

So, what does a Perfect Marriage look like?

I know some of us look towards other couples to find the secret to happiness, the secret to a happy marriage.  But that doesn’t work.  “What is good for the goose is not always good for the gander.”

We are different people with different needs, so that’s not the answer.  I mean, you can look to others’ marriages to see what TOOLS they utilize and try to apply them to your own.  That’s about it.  What they do to show love for one another may not necessarily work for you, because it may not be what you need to feel loved.

Instead of making this long-winded, I’ll just give you what I came up with.

There is NO such thing as the Perfect Marriage!

You all knew that didn’t you?  Okay, so it takes me a while  😛

I realized this by looking at the “marriage” of Christ to His Church.

Though HE is Perfect.  The Church isn’t!

WE are the Church.

Thus, anything that has to do with Human Beings will be UN-Perfect.

As you know, we are fallen, sinful creatures and yadda yadda…

Therefore, the most, the best, we can do is TRY!
