You.Did.This.To.Me

Once again I must thank Deacon Dodger!  Via his Blog, I found this wonderful “Book Report.”

It is Short, Sweet, and OH SO POWERFUL!

This “Book Report” is by Deacon Greg Kandra.  You will find it on Beliefnet.com.  More precisely at “The Deacon’s Bench.”

The Subject of the Book is Mother Teresa of Calcutta

You will come away emblazoned with:

You. Did. This. To. Me.

To ensure you visit this site and buy this book, here is a snippet:

Mother Teresa never told anyone, ‘I’ll care for you if you become a Christian.’ Instead, she offered the same unconditional love our Savior did. By being the hands and feet of Jesus, this petite Albanian Catholic nun became one of the great evangelists of the 20th century…

…The more you care about the powerless, the more power you have. The more you serve those with no influence, the more influence God gives you. The more you humble yourself, the more you’re honored by others. This is the great lesson I hope you’ll learn from this book (Rick Warren).

So I broke from the Rants, But this is Totally Worth it!

  1. A Complete Rant Breaking Book from Warrens “Purpose Driven”s I ‘ll have to admit.

From reading your intro, I was almost sure I was coming in here to say: Too Catholicated for Me to understand,..but Now, I’m …thoroughly confused.

    “Rick Warren”? Really?
I’ll have to think about it.
God Bless thanks for sharing…and I’ll probably…really…have to think about it, whether I want to or not…God Bless you

    1. LMAO!! I lke that Too Catholicated. May I use that? I know a few people that I need to say that to myself 😉

But, Yes, Rick Warren. And if you clicked on the link, then you also saw the other contributors and the author.

It takes quite an Individual to make such an impact across the board like that. And imagine, all she did was live as Christ told us to. She Served.
Gives one LOTS to think about.

Be careful with too much thinking, BTW, We may see some smoke down South 😛
