I visited a very creative blog a few days ago. “Time After Time.”
Jake, the Author, Creative Mastermind, and Graphic Artist honoured me by stopping by this humble blog and liking some of my rants.
Invaded by the ever-present beast of Curiosity, I visited his blog and saw that he holds competitions. Originally for Photographers and Graphic Artists. Well, he has now opened it to writers as well.
And…here’s the self-centered ME part, he encouraged me to partake.
Jake holds a Sunday Post Competition, this week it is Love. Quite fitting 😉
This is My Entry.
Well, actually, allow me to share a bit more…Originally I was torn between a few ideas I had. One, of course being The Greatest Love of All!
But after coming across The Ironic Catholic’s Prayer Request, I realized that This was too Beautiful a Demonstration of Love to pass it up.
So in a way, I guess it’s cheating. Because I am not writing it. Just sharing.
Okay, after typing that, I KNOW this is not MY Entry. But, it is worth, no…I MUST Share this with as many people as possible!

Susan is a Very Intelligent Woman. She is also Extremely Witty, Funny, and Beautiful! I had the honour of meeting her at the Vatican Blogger’s Meeting in 2011. I was Star-Struck! She is such a Great Writer!
But now, the more I read about what she does and is doing, I am even more humbled by her and her family.
They are a Family with Open, Giving, and Loving Hearts.
And they Need Our Help, TODAY!
Susan and her Family will be starting a Novena to St. Joseph to hopefully help Bureaucracy Move!
Susan is in the Process of adopting a Handsome young boy named Alex.
Alex is Five Years Old and “lives in an Eastern European country institution, and lives with cerebral palsy. “
The wheels of bureaucracy in Alex’s home country have pushed the Family’s dossier submission by SIX weeks and with an extended approval time. All this adds up to Alex not being with his Family until well into May, Susan tells us.
As a Loving Parent, she is concerned for her Son’s well-being! He needs Medical Care and equally if not More important, Alex needs to be surrounded by his Loving Family.
As a Parent who does not have her children with her, I can empathize with the pain, the impotence and the frustration of her situation.
She and her family will begin the Novena to St. Joseph today as well as Fasting.
Please, do Join them, as will I.
You can also keep up with Alex and his Family on Alex’s FB Page.
This is a very touching story. I pray with you and the family. Not to St. Joseph, of course, but, I appreciate your being compelled to pass this message of love along to others.
Bless You
paul
