As I commented when I read this…
When will we Uphold the Teachings and put aside Ecumenism? What is wrong is wrong!
And as the Archdiocese’s statement states:
“‘no one is entitled to the Eucharist,’ and that ‘any person who obstinately perseveres in manifest grave sin is not to be admitted to Holy Communion.’”
Plain and Simple!
I did not partake in Holy Communion for years.
I would not have dreamt of it. I was not Entitled to it.
My comment has nothing to do with “How come she can and I couldn’t?”
Please, don’t misinterpret me here…What I am saying is that we need to Know and Understand our State. When in doubt, Reconciliation. The Priest will be more than happy to let you know when you are in a State of Mortal Sin.
But honestly, we KNOW when we are doing wrong and living an Unworthy Life…Come On Now…
