If our faith is strong, we should be patient with the Lord’s followers whose faith is weak. We should try to please them instead of ourselves. We should think of their good and try to help them by doing what pleases them. [Romans 15:1-2 †]
Remember, everyone is at a different stage in their spiritual journey and it is our responsibility to nurture and help those who find themselves lost in the face of uncertainty and confusion. Be patient, kind, and understanding with them as everyone progresses differently towards their faith and belief. But the first and most crucial step is to:
“In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight” [Proverbs 3:6 †]
If you deny Jesus and God in your life then they will deny you. But if you let them into your life, they will not hold back the love that they hold for you. If you surrender to Jesus, and follow his teachings, not only will your life be blessed with happiness, but also everlasting love. And to conclude this little blurb, a quote that we of the faith should always keep in mind and act on in the many situations in our busy and sometimes chaotic lives.
“Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you” [Ephesians 4:31-32 †].
If you do know anyone who is struggling with their faith, I strongly encourage you to show them this video. This video was very helpful in my spiritual journey, and I believe would be just as useful for those confused with their beliefs
