“[…] I want to model that no matter what condition we are in we can come to God as we are. And not only that but God wants us to come to Him in any condition we are in. He doesn’t care what condition our heart is in, He cares about the desire we have in our hearts. So many times I hear of a teen who messed up in a small way, but then feels incompetent and not worthy of God. The next thing I know that student has fallen off completely because they can never then reach the perfection that they want before they go before God again. The concept of coming before God in any condition you are in is preached and talked about so often, but it needs to be modeled for teens and people to understand it.
